Since Countrypet Naturals is raw and "Pasteurized Safe",
serve at room temperature or cooler. Simply slice off the measured
amount and serve.

Storing Countrypet Naturals
Buy it frozen and store in the fridge
(defrosted) 4-6 weeks unopened and 7-10 days opened. Place a
Countrypet Naturals "Fresh Cap" on your cut roll
to keep it moist & easy to store. |

We pasteurize
our fresh high quality raw human grade meats for safety and ease of
use yet still providing the full meaty benefits of any raw diet. It
is then packed and flash-frozen to lock in freshness.
Raw meat is highly
perishable and may come to contain salmonella, ecoli and even parasites that
could cause illness to you, your children that may come into contact
with unwashed bowls, floors etc. and your pets. |

Our raw +
pasteurization process not only ensures safety in handling but retains
the meaty goodness and nutritional profile as it is only lightly
heated (80 Degrees Celsius or about the same as coffee) for only
10 minutes.
Nearly all milk and natural fruit juices we buy for drinking are
pasteurized for safety. |
