CountryPet Naturals products are made from free range and pasture fed meats from the South Island of New Zealand. Our selection of fresh venison, beef, lamb and chicken is sourced from New Zealand Food Safety Authority (NZFSA) certified facilities. The processing facility producing the finished products is licensed by the NZFSA, whose inspectors inspect the facilities to ensure all preparation, pasteurization, processing, and packing procedures meet their standards. All of our food products are FDA, USDA, and NZFSA approved.

Free range and grass fed meats

New Zealand’s lush climate allows for free range feeding all year round. Naturally New Zealand meat proteins from pasture raised animals are ideal for good health. Fat profiles are optimized and the proteins are richer in antioxidants; including vitamin E, beta-carotene, and vitamin C. Furthermore, our Naturally New Zealand proteins do not contain any added hormones, antibiotics or other drugs.

Free range and pasture fed meats comprising the Naturally New Zealand CountryPet Naturals product range are:

• Lower in fat and calories - livestock are on a grass only diet, therefore the meat is lean and lower in fat content 
• Higher in protein content per ounce
• Have not been treated with antibiotics at any point; unlike feed-lot type environments outside of New Zealand, which are typically more unsanitary, necessitating antibiotic use.  
• Higher in levels of beta carotene and vitamin E - both are important anti-oxidants
• Great for dealing with grain allergy sensitivities in pets; Naturally New Zealand pasture raised livestock have never been fed corn, soy, or wheat, making grain allergies a non-issue

Lamb

The lamb in our recipes is 100% New Zealand humanely raised, free-range, grass-fed, antibiotic-free and hormone-free. Lamb is a comparatively high fat meat. Fat  provides important nutrition for dogs The New Zealand climate is optimal for year-round free-range grazing, with lush green pastures and mild temperatures. Lamb in our rolls comprises Lamb Meat, Lamb Liver, and Lamb Lung. 

 

Beef

The beef in our recipes is 100% New Zealand humanely raised, free-range, grass-fed, antibiotic-free and hormone-free.  The New Zealand climate is optimal for year-round free-range grazing, with lush green pastures and mild temperatures. The Beef in our rolls comprises Beef Meat, Beef Tripe, Beef Liver, and Beef Lung.

 

Venison

The venison in our recipes is 100% 100% New Zealand humanely raised, free-range, grass-fed, antibiotic-free and hormone-free.  The New Zealand climate is optimal for year-round free-range grazing, with lush green pastures and mild temperatures. Venison is a lean meat, comparatively high in protein and rich in iron. The New Zealand climate is optimal for year-round free-range grazing, consisting of lush green pastures and mild temperatures. The Venison in our rolls comprises Venison Meat, Venison Tripe, Venison Lung, Venison Liver, and Venison Kidney.  

 

Chicken

The chicken in our recipes is 100% New Zealand barn-raised, cage-free and humanely raised. Chicken is an antibiotic-free, high-quality protein that provides essential nutrients to help maintain healthy organs and lean muscle. The Chicken in our rolls comprises Chicken Meat, Chicken Skin, and Chicken Liver.

 

Carrots, Peas and Sweet Corn 

We use non-GMO New Zealand carrots, peas, and sweet corn in our Lamb and Vegetable Recipe. Carrots are an excellent source of essential vitamins, minerals, and carotenoids that help support both immune and digestive health. Peas are an excellent source of essential vitamins, minerals, and dietary fiber. Sweet corn is rich in fiber and carotenoids.    

 

Fish Oil

Fish oil is a rich source of Omega-3 Essential Fatty Acids. It supports heart health, promotes a healthy coat, reduces itchy and flaky skin, and can help relieve allergies and joint pain. It can even help strengthen their immune system and has been linked to reducing the onset of cancer.

 

Sunflower Oil 

Sunflower oil is rich in Omega-6 Fatty Acids, Vitamin E, and antioxidants, and low in saturated fat. It keeps your pet's skin healthy and promotes energy, healthy immune function, heart health, and normal organ function. 

 

Taurine

Taurine is incorporated into all our recipes to ensure cats can eat all roll recipes. It is an essential amino acid required by cats and kittens. It is associated with growth, eye health, and cardiac health. Taurine provides added health benefits for dogs as a natural antioxidant and for healthy eyesight, heart health, and hearing.

 

Vitamins

Choline Chloride, Mixed Tocopherols, Vitamin E Supplement, Vitamin D Supplement.

 

Minerals

Dicalcium Phosphate, Potassium Chloride, Magnesium Oxide, Zinc Proteinate, Iron Proteinate, Copper Proteinate, Selenium Yeast, Manganese Proteinate, and Calcium Iodate.

Potato Starch

We use non-GMO potato starch in our Venison Recipe gently pasteurized frozen rolls. Potatoes are gluten-free and an easily digestible carbohydrate. There are no known allergies to potatoes.
